About
Eléssi Interiors creates thoughtfully designed spaces that blend effortless beauty with intentional living. Inspired by the concept of Elysium—a place of ideal happiness and tranquility—our design philosophy embraces natural materials, organic textures, and harmonious earthy palettes. We craft interiors that feel both elevated and deeply personal, to create a space that serves as your own personal Elysium—a sanctuary that reflects who you are and enhances your daily life.
Eléssi Interiors specializes in small-space design, transforming compact areas into highly functional, inviting homes that don’t compromise on style. This focus was inspired by founder Elle Smith’s experience of transforming her 450-square-foot apartment in Los Angeles into a beautifully curated, highly functional home. Through creative layouts, multifunctional furnishings, and a deep appreciation for sustainability, she discovered that even the smallest spaces can feel expansive, personal, and deeply livable.
By blending sustainability with affordability, Eléssi Interiors proves that high-quality, intentional design can be both accessible and beautiful—regardless of square footage or budget.
Eléssi Interiors prioritizes timeless, high-quality design by focusing on craftsmanship, sustainable materials, and ethical sourcing. Rejecting the overuse of fast-fashion trends, our approach is rooted in thoughtful curation—selecting durable, beautifully crafted pieces that are as conscious as they are stylish. The result? Interiors that are intentional, enduring, and deeply connected to the people who live in them.
About Elle Smith
Eléssi Interiors was founded by Elle Smith, a native of Oakwood, Ohio. Elle earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Business from Ohio University, where she was also a member of the women’s basketball team. Though she initially planned to pursue a career in psychology, Elle’s lifelong passion for interior design ultimately led her to make a bold career shift. She packed up and moved to Los Angeles to follow her passion, where she earned her associate degree in Interior Architectural Design from Santa Monica College. Elle also gained invaluable experience working in custom high-end furniture and as an interior design consultant in the tile industry.
Elle believes a well-designed home is more than just a space—it profoundly impacts well-being, happiness, and quality of life. A home should be both functional and beautiful, creating a sense of comfort, inspiration, and individuality. When a space truly reflects who you are and supports your daily life, it becomes a sanctuary—where you can recharge, feel at ease, and thrive.
